Beer, Wine and Chocolate Pairing

Join us for our 15th Anniversary celebration. Our beer and chocolate pairings are on Friday, April 21 at 3-4:00pm and 6-7:00pm; our wine and chocolate pairings are at 4:30-5:30pm.

To book: Select the time slot (you may only reserve one slot), then add the number of people in your group under “quantity.” These sessions are open to individuals and small groups; this is NOT a private session. 

This Happy Hour Guided Small Group Experience celebrates our collaborations with local breweries and wineries. Each hour features a different flight of 4 beers or 4 types of wine paired with a variety of the finest FlavorWow™ chocolates.

3:00-4:00; enjoy a flight of Northway Brewing brews, including a special collaborative beer featuring Barkeater Chocolates. We will guide you through the beer selection and pair it with the perfect chocolates to enhance the taste of both.

4:30-5:30; Barkeater Chocolates and Adirondack Winery turn 15 this April. To celebrate, we’re featuring a flight of ADK wines, including a special collaborative limited run port. This guided flight will be paired with delicious chocolates that will tantalize your taste buds.

6:00-7:00; Happy Hour wraps up with a flight of Common Roots brews featuring unique, limited run beers and Barkeater’s custom chocolates. Each pairing is designed to bring out the best features of both the chocolate and the beer.

Requirements: MUST BE 21 OR OVER TO PARTICIPATE. Date of Birth and ID number required of person reserving. We will contact you for additional information regarding the guests in your party.

Space is limited – this must be reserved and purchased ahead of time. No walk-ins will be accommodated. If we do not meet our minimum attendance, we will cancel and refund your money. If we reach our maximum attendance, we will close the session off to new attendees.

PLEASE READ, FAQ:

Q: Can I just stop by the shop and walk into an experience you already have scheduled?

A: No. All experiences are pre-booked and pre-paid.

Q: Why are you so strict about that?

A: Space, staffing, preparation. Our Experience Room seats 8-10 people, and we schedule staff needed for booked experience days. This experience leaves no room for winging it.

Q: Can I bring my kids?

A: We recommend you leave the kids with the sitter. We are not offering a non-alcoholic version of this particular flight.

Q: Can I book all three session?

A: Unfortunately, no. Our limited numbers and complicated liquor laws allow us to book small groups and for short periods of time. We are only offering this one day as a special 15th anniversary event.

Q: How about wheelchair accessibility?

A: We can accommodate most standard wheelchairs. Please make us aware ahead of time so we can arrange our chocolate making room to make it as comfortable as possible.

Q: What if I have to cancel?

A: We understand things happen. Please give us at least 24 hours notice and we’ll refund your money or reschedule your session. However, no-shows will not be given a refund.

Q: My session begins at 3:00, when should we arrive?

A: Five minutes before your session is all that is required. Arriving 30 minutes early won’t get you in any earlier, and arriving 30 minutes late means you will miss the bulk of your experience.
